Data Sovereignty & Ownership Charter.
Our permanent, legally binding institutional commitment to the privacy, autonomy, and independence of every Kratia member organization.
Charter Version 2.4 • Stewarded by the Kratia Foundation1. Unconditional Organizational Ownership
All fiscal records, employee databases, customer transactions, inventory movements, and telemetry generated within your Kratia instance remain the exclusive, inalienable property of your organization. The Kratia Foundation holds zero claim, copyright, or commercial rights over member data.
2. Full Export Portability & Zero Lock-In
Member organizations may export their entire operational history, database backups, and configuration registries at any time in open, standardized formats (SQL, CSV, JSON). The Foundation will never charge export fees, throttle transfer bandwidth, or obscure data schemas.
3. Zero Secondary Monetization or Telemetry Mining
The Foundation never aggregates, sells, monetizes, or shares member transactional data with advertisers, third-party brokers, or AI model vendors. Analytics within the platform are private to the member and executed exclusively within their boundary.
4. Sovereign Territorial Data Residency
Data belonging to a member is processed and stored in compliance with local residency directives. Using universal ISO-3166 partitioning, data remains within designated national boundaries, guaranteeing native compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and sovereign banking frameworks.
5. Cryptographic Erasure & Audit Ledger
All data mutations are preserved in an auditable ledger. Should a member terminate their relationship with the Foundation, all managed cloud backups and temporary caches are permanently and cryptographically purged upon request.
This Data Sovereignty Charter is an integral part of the Kratia Foundation constitution. It applies unconditionally across all membership tiers: Individuals, Public Entities, and Commercial Enterprises.
